Hi. I’m Ken Dyckman.

I’m the principal advisor at MEP-Precon.com. I’m on a mission to help MEP companies optimize their preconstruction efforts. I made this space to provide you with resources to get to the place you want to be without a lengthy learning curve. My success comes from elevating you out of the pile of competitors in the quickest, most effective way possible.

I’ve worked preconstruction activities on hundreds of successful projects from $1,000 ~ $30M+. Through experience and extensive focused research, I’ve identified models and patterns to differentiate preconstruction efforts for greater success and profits. I’ve been in the toughest of trenches and learned what works well and what doesn’t. I’ve grown loyal customers through creating unique value for their projects and businesses. Having a demonstrated position of trustworthiness, greater-than-average project margins, and developing others to do the same is the ultimate trifecta, and can definitely be established within your company.

Ken Dyckman enjoys my wholehearted recommendation. This recommendation is based on personal knowledge of his outstanding work ethic as a teacher at the University of Washington. He taught this difficult-to-teach technical class to construction management students. His student evaluations were always outstanding. Ken also works independently, has extensive industry experience, and is a team player. He is an outstanding employee and people person.

Professor & Department Chair, Construction Management Department University of Washington

Ken Dyckman has been teaching classes for the Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Washington since 2009. From an administrative standpoint, he is extremely organized, responsive and punctual. He continually strives to improve the delivery of his classes, making him one of our most coveted resources. Based on student feedback, he has the ability to make a dry topic fun and engaging. He is highly skilled at teaching technical knowledge in a way that students can easily understand. For this and other reasons he was named MCAWW’s ‘Instructor of the Year’ in 2011.
